Privacy Policy

This Claims System is operated in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("PDPO") and the six Data Protection Principles. This policy explains what personal data we collect, the purposes of collection, to whom we may transfer it, and your rights of access and correction.

Data we collect

Identity and contact details, HKID (for claim identity verification; stored in encrypted form), bank-account details for reimbursement, claim information and supporting documents (which may include medical documents), and access logs (IP, user agent, timestamps).

Purposes of use

Administering insurance claims, verifying eligibility, processing reimbursements, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

Retention

Claims and related documents: 7 years from closure. Bank details: 2 years from your last claim. Audit logs: 7 years. Profile data: for the lifetime of your account plus one year after closure.

Cross-border transfer

Data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure in the ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) region. Email delivery is performed by Resend. These processors are bound by data-processing agreements.
